Manchester - a city on the up

Manchester has recently hit the headlines as a possible City to receive the opportunity to run its own health budget which will be devolved from London control. However in recent times Manchester is a city that has being going through significant transformation on all fronts, including football!

On the regeneration side there are new buildings springing up all the over the place. I recently visited Spinningfield and was impressed by the can do attitude of the people I spoke to about wanting to do business. Companies are now starting to view as it as city where can they relocate to. Spearheaded by the BBC, a large international law firm also recently made an announcement about moving out of the City to take a new office there.

It is a city of opportunity and one which can only conitnue to go from strength to strength as it breaks the shackles of its industrial past.
