Team dynamics

We recently ran a very interesting project on the identification of resilience within a senior leadership team. The core focus of the workshop was to identify the team's resilience capabilities and for them to undertake an introduction to mental fortitude training. Interestingly as the workshop developed what also become apparent was the fact that the social cohesion and dynamic of the team was also very strong.

Throughout the military and sport the emphasis is very much on the team to deliver for the greater good of a particular objective or sporting challenge. What was refreshing is this exercise was seeing how a team in a professional capacity demonstrated similar characteristics through a common aim and purpose. Through these constructs the building blocks of enhancing their individual and team resilience pathways were therefore already in place and the desire in the room to develop this further meant the outcomes achieved were considerable.
